RIDS members volunteer each year to plant the dahlia gardens at Green Animals. Below are photos of the 2009 planting crew, as well as two photos of the gardens abloom in September of that year. (All photos courtesy of Donna Lane, except where noted.)
In May 2007, approximately one dozen RIDS volunteers arrived with tools in hand for the second annual planting of dahlias at Green Animals. Members quickly split into teams, and all of the dahlias were laid out and planted in under two hours. Many hands make light work!
